SK-3005 sat search

Does the sk-3005 automatically re-search for sats if it is blown off signal by strong winds? Or do you have to manually initiate a new search? JDA

Unless the coach is moved by the wind, it can not be blown off signal. However, if something blows into the path between the satellite and the TRAV'LER or the coach is moved by the wind, you will have to start a new search.

The TRAV'LER can not be moved off signal in the wind but obstructions might be moved into its view of the satellite.

Along that same line of questioning, once the Travl'ler locks onto the satellites, if I then level the rv which may move the rv's position, will the Trav'ler stay locked ontot the satellites. And if it does loose the satellites , either by wind blowing the trees in the way or by movement of the motorhome when I level it, will the box no longer show the satellites with the * next to them?

bottom line, my real question is whether I will see on the control box if the satellite is no longer locked on the satellites.

thanks,
linda
