Purchased the Carryout and decided to test the unit at home before using it in the RV. Set it up according to manual (Directv) and the unit searched interminably.
I tested the coax from the receiver and got 13.8 vdc. Removed the dome on the Carryout and tested the coax coming from the electronics into the LNB (Primary or main). Got a reading of 18 vdc Put an analog satellite signal finder in line with the coax from the receiver and let the unit go thru its search routine. I noticed that the unit would blow right past what appeared to be strong sattelite signals, Help please !.
BTW, clear view of the southern sky.
