Carryout GM 1518 No signalI made the plunge and bought a Carryout GM 1518, after no luck with regular satellite dish. I have a Dish network receiver VIP 211. I followed instructions setting the switch settings for Dish Network. When I turned on the TV with the receiver and carryout system on I could not get the signal acquisition on satellite 119, to get to the SW64 switch. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong. I was trying this out at home with the satellite plugged into my SUV.
Re: Carryout GM 1518 No signalDoes the Carryout ever stop moving?
If so, how are you running the coax from the Carryout to the receiver? In through a window or door???
Re: Carryout GM 1518 No signalI hear it moving inside, but it does stop. I'm running everything out the back gate of the SUV.
Re: Carryout GM 1518 No signalDo you have a clear view of the Southern Sky?
If so, check the coax connected to the Carryout, there should be 12-18VDC on the end of the coax connected to the Carryout. If you do not have this, you may have a bad connection somewhere. If not, please call us and we can look into other options: 1-800-788-4417
