what type multiswitch can you use with direct tv drv and single receiver with gm 1518?

You can not use a multiswitch with the GM-1518. However, it will mimic one.

To run your DVR:

Connect both cables from the Carryout to the receiver.
Go into Receiver Setup and select:
Oval, two satellite
or Oval three satellite
Multiswitch
Dual mode.


This should make the receiver work with the Carryout.
