Directv receiver and rd4600 dish

Directv receiver and rd-4600 dish will they work together? I have tried but no luck.

Yes, they will work together.

The first thing you will need to do is set the receiver to look for a ROUND dish. Otherwise when you put the location (zip code or Lat Long) into the receiver you will get the wrong look angles.
