DirectTV

Postby Dale Vickers » Thu Jul 30, 2009 12:44 pm

Just bought a motor home that came with a DIRECTTV Sattlelite Dish (don't know the number right now but it has auto find). My problem is that I have DISHTV service at home. Cal the directTV receive a dish signal? Can the directTV dish be modified to receive DISH? Other alternatives???

Thanks,

Dale Vickers

Good afternoon Dale -

Could you please try to find a model number, manufacturer or some information on what satellite dish you have? The more info the better for us to see your options.

Thanks.

It is not difficult to swap from DIRECTV to DISH with that unit. You will have to purchase the reflector, bracket and LNB.

You want to order part numbers:

RP-SK21 and RP-SK11

These come with everything you need to change including instructions. The kits suggested retail is just under $200 total.

You might be able to find a good deal on these from a dealer in your area.
