No signal on RD-9046

Postby dpcitrigno » Fri Jul 24, 2009 10:05 am

I received a RD-9026, RD-9146, RD8046 as a gift. I have been unable to receive a signal. I have aligned the sat. using a signal meter and I am supposedly receiving the signal between 9 and 10 on the meter, but nothing is being received on the receiver to the TV. I have checked the wiring, level and everything else I can do. The only thing I haven't tried is dancing around with it on my head. Could you let me know what else I should try?

If you have DISH Network, set the receiver for a DISH 300 system.

If not, make sure that you have 12-18 VDC on the coax cable connected to the LNBF. This voltage runs from the receiver to the LNB to power it. With out this voltage, there can be no signal.
