Help!! No signal after.........The thunder storm of the year came by and poped the power pole next to us. We are retired full time RV'ers and have been in our '96 Pace Arrow since the day we drove it off. Never had a bit of trouble with the antenna. Switched over to digital tv with the convertor box and had more channels than ever........ until that dang lightening hit so close. I noticed the led on the power supply for the antenna was off. So I checked in here and read up. When I disconnected the coax from the antenna head the led on the power supply came back on. I assume the head is out, is that correct? Can it be checked with an ohm meter? I tried just to see and there was like 14 ohms when I read between the base and the center pin on the coax connector.
Re: Help!! No signal after.........Anyone? I'd realy like to know if the antenna needs to be replaced, I noticed Admin. has been online but still no answers........
Re: Help!! No signal after.........If you reconnect the antenna does the light go out again?
If so, try a running a second coax cable to the antenna head to see if this takes care of it. If not you will need a new antenna head. Email me at mobiletechhelp@winegard.com and we can go over your options.
