Can't Find Satellite While Traveling in Canada

I had a RM-DM46 installed the day before we left on vacation. I am using it with DirecTV. I tested it at home and it worked great. I also was able to use it successfully when I had a zip code in the states. Now that we are in Canada I have to use Latitude/longitude and it won't work. When I enter the numbers it says invalid. I do not know how to find the satellites any other way unless I have the Elevation and Azimuth. Is there some other way for me to do this manually?
I get setup and find true north with compass and align the dial on the dish. I then am in need of the elevation and azimuth to get a signal. What can I do???
