cable-tv distribution panel vs-1000

Postby jaminjer » Mon Jul 06, 2009 2:43 pm

I just bought an older coach that has a setup for dual tvs and vcr in and out to recorder. My winegard model is vs1000. I am trying to figure out the correct connections where they should go. The box looks like it has speaker wire going in and out from it but not sure how that is suppose to work with my setup. I have an in dash stereo with a selector switch that says stereo and tv. The stereo works but cant seem to get the right connections to make the tvs work through the speakers. I currently have crank up satellite for dish and have that connection going to set 1 which gets me a picture on set 1 and set 2 but no sound. The connections for cable in and antennae in are original. Is there an upgrade for this box? does anyone have a diagram how it should be hooked up?

Thanks

Anyway the signal on this model is strictly RF. There is not any separation of the audio and video signals as in a composite A/V. The only wires that connect to this other than the coax is the 12 volt power and the wires for the remote switch panel. It sounds like he needs to connect the audio from the satellite receiver to the stereo and connect the video from the satellite receiver to the TV set.
