VS-53AV power draw

VS-53AV power drawWe just purchased the VS-53AV video switch. Need to know - how much power does the antenna amplifier capability draw? Is it always running or can it be switched off to save battery?
Re: VS-53AV power drawThe antenna draws 80-100 mA and you will need to have the antenna powered while it is in use. As long as you are not using the Antenna or the DVD player, you can run this unit without power.
Re: VS-53AV power drawThanks for the info. So last question - as long as the DC power is connected it is drawing that power round the clock? When we are boondocking and using an inverter, we switch off the AC to all of the vdeo componenets at the power strip unless we want to watch. Do I understand that this DC power draw would continue? If so - please forward our suggestion to the design team that future units offer a power switch.
Thanks!
Re: VS-53AV power drawTo stop the power draw you will need to unplug the 12V power from the back of the Video Switch.
