Sat toggling

When my dish receiver ( ViP211k ) is off, ( it shuts off automatically during the night ) my carryout 1518 toggles between satellites every 15 minutes or so and the noise is annoying to me and my neighbors. Other than un-plugging the 12 volt power, is there anything I can do to stop this?

Not really. The LNB gets 12V from the receiver, so if it's turning off it's not going to be outputting the power to the LNB. The antenna is basically blind at this point, so it may toggle at times.
