Trav'ler piggy backed

Postby sam-tip » Thu Jun 11, 2009 11:19 pm

Is is possible to use two trav'ler units together. One used as a normal dish network (110 119 129) and the second trav'ler connected to the input of the first 1000.2 lnb. With the second until pointed in manual mode to 61.5 for dish network.

I think the 1000.2 input is compatible with dp lnb and dual dp lnb. Don't know about DPplus lnb (1000.2).

Or would an external switch be needed to get 110 119 129 and 61.5 with two trav'ler units.

We have not tried this.

We will test this and respond as soon as possible. Most likely next week.

I tried it with my old dish network 1000.0 on a portable stand pointing at 110 and 119. Turn the traveler sk1000 to 61.5 and connected it to the 129 input of the dual lnb. My receiver would not see the traveler. At 61.5.
