satellite will not start

Sat will not start. Unit is RoadTrip SDi - In-Motion. I have power to the switch, test shows that power is flowing through the switch when in the "on" position. However, the led light on the switch does not come on. Sounds like there is a problem with the system on the roof. Any suggestions or thoughts of what the problem is?

The problem with the light sounds like it might be the bulb since you say there is power on both sides.
You will need to go up on the roof and remove the dome. Inside you will find a silver control box with the 12V wires entering on one side. Check for 12V power at this location. If power is available at the controller and the antenna will not move you will need to get the unit serviced at a local RV dealer or repair facility.
