1. Does Winegard have a software upgrade so that I don't have to throw my AS-2003 in the landfill?
2. Could there be a way to re-configure the servo motors on the dish to be controlled manually?
Any help/advice is appreciated...

AS-2003 Woes

AS-2003 WoesI purchased a new 5th wheel trailer in the fall of 2007. I thought I would splurge and have an automatic satellite dish installed at the same time. The dealer installed an AS-2003. I did not have a chance to use the dish until September, 2008 when I was away and wanted to watch my favourite football team ( I have Bell Expressvu). To my dismay, the AS-2003 would not work. It seemed to do everything right except lock on to sat. 91. So I gave up. This spring I tried again, but got the same result. Then I tuned in to this forum and found that essentially my AS-2003 is obsolete, and the only solution is to spend another $2000 on a newer model.
