no signal message

no signal messageI have a 1999 Class C with the original Winegard antenna. I bought a digital converter box but when I connect it to my TV inside the coach I get the same message....no signal received. Do I need a new Winegard antenna head or will a batwing attachment suffice? Right now without the converter box (before the DTV switch) I usually get 1 or 2 broadcast TV channels.
Re: no signal messageIf the antenna was working before, it should be fine for the digital signal.
Since you are getting the No Signal message it is likely a wiring issue, I have attached a set of diagrams to this post. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: no signal messageThanks so much for sending the wiring diagram. It helped alot!!! I now have the converter box set up properly (I think) am now getting a signal and in the background I can see a crystal clear picture and wonderful sound....... I just have one major problem. I have this big white horizontal line of like static/snow continuously rolling from the top to the bottom of my picture.
I adjusted the antenna but it doesn't get any better or go away. It is on every channel. Any ideas? Thanks so much
Re: no signal messageSounds like a bad connection between the converter and the TV. Try using another piece of coax.
