Error Message on Switch

We have had our dish reciever and satalite for years and have never had an issue. We turned the satalite on last night and we keep getting this error message saying the Switch is not being found or disconnected. We have tried everything. Dish Network said to contact Winegard to see if you new what this messeage stands for. What is a switch?
