RV-6004 Replacement Head

Just removed my antenna head and discovered it is an RV-6004. It is not operating and no where on this forum could I find what current model can be used to replace the RV-6004. Can some one please advise? Also please let me know if a wingman can be used with the replacement head.

The replacement antenna head for the RV-6004 is the RV-2005 and both will accept the Wingman.

Make sure there is enough room on the top of your RV for the folded wingman attachment. There is not enough room on my RV. There is an air vent on roof right next to the folded antenna.

bigal is correct on this.

For clearance on the Wingman, you need 10" of free space off the face (opposite the booms) of the antenna.

If you run into a space issue, you can cut the outside element off if necessary, however it will reduce the performance of the Wingman substantially.
