Sensar IV Replacement Head

Postby dohler » Wed Jul 04, 2012 2:38 am

At this time, I'm thinking about replacing the sensar III head with the Sensar IV replacement head however, I'm a little confused by the installation instruction and other notes that are published through out the site. The new wingman installation requires 10" clearance for this added item however, the Sensar IV replacement head requires 16" of clearance. In the instructions, it indicates these clearances are required from the Sensar body and other notations states the clearance is from the boom. Can anyone explain the real clearance requirements?
Thanks

Since the Sensar III with a Wingman or a Sensar IV are the exact same thing, if you choose to replace your current antenna instead of adding the Wingman you would need 10" of additional clearance on the side of the head where the Wingman sticks out.

dohler,

It's 10" from the head of the Sensar, 16" from the boom.
