SK-3005 weak 99 and 103 signals

I have had a problem with my sk-3005 since I bought it. I receive on my signal meters all 90+ on the 101,119,110 but on the 99 and 103's always 40% or lower i dont get all the hd channels. I contacted support and they said it could have been the area I was in. So the next 3 Nascar events I have attended the same problem low signals on the 99 and 103's. So I took it upon myself to try and find an answer. I inspected the rflecror for damage and found none. I figured it was an alignment issue so I removed power from the dish and standing behing the dish rotated it towards the right a few degrees and to my amazment i had the 99 and 103's at 70% and all the channels. I just dont like the idea of climbing on the roof every time to have to make a manual adjustment on an automatic dish. any suggestions???

As you thought, I would say it is most likely an alignment issue. I see you can see no reflector damage, but how does the LNB feed arm look? Is it loose or bent at all?

How old is this antenna?

The dish is second owner thats me. It looks brand new no physical damage. If it was aligment issue would you try to bend reflector or lnb arm to compensate?

also when i make my manual adjustment the 101,110,119 all stay over 90% go figure???

could someone please answer my follow up question? I have been playing phone tag with customer support for 3 days they always call after i leave work. I have tried the online support but as of yet have heard nothing back. Please call me if you can

I apologize in the wait on getting back to you. We need to figure out out if the antenna is in warranty or not. I would recommend a new reflector and LNB feed-arm kit as it should resolve any possible alignment issues.

The warranty would be based off the original owners purchase date. If it is within two years, we can do warranty replacement parts. If not, you can purchase the replacement parts at cost.
