Compatability of Antenna tek to Winegard

We currently have a Antenna Tek , Signal Commander on our new RV trailer. To put it bluntly the reception stinks. We had the folks that bought our older trailer (which had a winegard antenna with a wingman installed on it ) camped next to us on Memorial Day week end. They were able to receive 15 channels and they were 30 feet from our trailer. We on the other hand could only get (weak signal ) on our TV.

So my question is I found a new Winegard antenna head Rv2500 (I think the number is) and the fellow sent me the measurements of the head mounting bracket and the attaching pin hole centers and they are the same as the Antenna Tek unit we have. What I was wondering is if the Winegard head would fit on the Antenna Tek mast as they look identical ?

My second question is, are the power booster wall plate electronics the same and can it match up with the Winegard antenna head electronics ?

Hope you can answer these questions as we do want to change over to the Winegard antenna and add a wingman so we to can get better reception as well.

The RV-2005 may fit with the Antenna Tek mount, however we do not recommend it with that use. We put a lot of time and effort into designing mounts that are going to be strong and durable enough to withstand being mounted on an RV. We have not tested our head with the Antenna Tek mount, therefore it may differ from ours in regards to strength and durability.

For the power supply, the RV-2005 operates off +12VDC. If the current power supply supplies that, it should be enough.
