Travel'r failure?

Travel'r failure?Left the motorhome for about 6 hours today on return only one of my two Dish Network receivers is receiving a signal from the antenna when turned on, both worked when we left this morning. When going through the dish pointing procedure for the "non-receiver" after dish "switch check" I get a "check connections error". All connections are tight inside, haven't checked the roof yet or moved the working receiver forward to see if it's a receiver problem. Travel'r was installed 9/7/2010.
Re: Travel'r failure? If one receiver has the correct reception and one receiver does not, then the only 2 options are a defective receiver (or over heated) or bad cabling. The Trav'ler is either locked or it's not. If one receiver is working properly then you can be assured that the antenna is working and pointed correctly.

Re: Travel'r failure?Thanks Bill
Have an extra receiver in storage will try it tomorrow.
Re: Travel'r failure? For a quick check, you can swap the 2 receivers if that's easy enough.

Re: Travel'r failure?teacher's pet,
As Bill said, we're dealing with a receiver or cabling issue. We need to go through a process of elimination to figure out what's failed. Are you only using two receivers with a single cable ran to each?
