Stationary, Enclosed Dish question

When we bought the stationary, enclosed (covered), auto tracking dish for our RV, we were told by the phone rep at Winegard it will be compatible with High Def TV Direct receivers.

Seems that's not the case it WON'T work with the Direct HDTV receiver.

Anything we can do to remedy this and make it work with a HDTV receiver?

There are NO domes that will get DIRECTV HDTV Signals and unfortunately, there is nothing that you can do to make one get the HD Channels.

I am curious, can you tell me who it was that you talked to? Winegard works very hard to make sure that all of our representitives know this and are able to help people decide on the satellite system that is best for them.

Unless DIRECTV changes how they are broadcasting their HD signals, it is unlikely that anyone will be able to make a successful dome to track the HD satellites.

DIRECTV has quite a bit invested in their current satellites and I doubt that they change.
