Newly installed SK-3500 in Winnebago

Postby Nyikeskids » Fri May 29, 2009 6:03 pm

The SK-3500 is an upgrade to our 2007 Winnebago Adventurer. The factory installed Winegard dish it replaced only allowed the use of one receiver to control the RV's 2 TV's one of which is an HDTV. The signals from the previous dish were routed through the Winegard Entertainment selector model VS-0503. Now that I have two Satellite lines coming into the RV what is the best way to connect 2 receivers using the same video selector switch? Would I be correct to connect the second sat. line to the Aux. input to route the signal to the second receiver?

You will need to run from the dish to the receiver BEFORE going through the video switch but there is no reason that you couldn't run the receiver's output to the AUX on the back of your video switch.
