RM-DM46 and Dihnetwork 322 Recivier

Removed the Direct TV recierver and installed the Dishnetwork 322 reciever and we are having problems with the box and dish communicating. The dish finds the satellites fine, but the box is having a problem connecting. The reciever install calls for 2 Satellite inputs but the antenna only has one coming into the RV.
When it gets to the updating screen it just sits idle and does not connect.

You will need two things.

1. Set the receiver for DISH 300. The RM-DM46 is only able to look at one satellite at a time so this will help you to find the correct satellite.

2. the 322 is a Dual Tuner receiver. This means that it is basically two receivers in one box. You will need to run two coax cables from the satellite dish to the receiver. The Rm-DM46 is designed to run two receivers so all you should need is to run the coax.
