Adjustment??

I heard a clicking in the dish that continued to get louder until the dish stopped rotating altogether. Upon inspection, it apears that the two horz arms are hitting the top of the screw head by the switch. It seems I can gain clearance by loosening the two allen screws on the stop piece on the vertical rod and moving it about 1/16". This will give me the clearance the arms I need but will it screw anything up by doing so? Thanks...
