Setting Up SK-1000 for Bell ExpressVu HD (82 & 91)For anyone having difficulty setting up a SK-1000 to get 82 & 91 to align on this dish, here are a few simple steps, as I just finished getting mine done today. After intial installation of the unit, go straight to "For ExpressVu Users". Follow the steps all the way down to "Make sure the asterisk is next to the SELECT ANTENNA then press [Enter] line". Once you have entered this and if it prompts you to "Select Mount" , then Select "SM Mount" , then if it prompts you for a pass word, Select & Enter "This password is found on the TRAV'LER label on the gear housing for the unit on the roof" and "Enter". Once this is entered, it should take you to the dish menu starting with "DISH 1000" , Select EXPRESSVU and then [Enter]. Always be sure the Asterisk * is beside the line you are ENTERING. It will take a few moments for it to find and skew into both satellites but it will happen. I found in order to get the HD, I hooked one cable to the "B" connection which is the feed for Nim 91 and another cable to "C" which is the feed for Nim 82. These can be whatever length you want (I prefer shorter), then I had to put in an SW-21 Multi Switch (DishNetwork Brand) then a single cable on into the reciever. I checked the switches and strengths of both satellites and everything was good to go.
I hope this will help anyone who is getting frustrated from trying to figure this out and made it simpler to get that ExpressVu HD up and running for you. Good Luck!!!
