AS-2003 Control Unit

I am looking for a used control unit that goes inside the RV to control my AS-2003 automatic dish. I also was wondering if any other control units will work on my dish. Conversations with Winegard have convinced me this is my problem, but they do not have any of the units. Thanks for any help someone might provide.

Unfortunately, Only the AS-2003 control unit will work with the AS-2003 and we no longer have this part.

What is your system doing or not doing? It could be something else acting like a bad control board.

The control unit will not light the on light. All three of the other lights come on and stay on. I spoke with a customer tech person and he agreed with what the book said that the control unit is bad.

That is entirely possible.

I would take the wall plate off the wall and check the voltages on the plug on the back of the plate.

The black wire is your ground.

You should check the voltage for all of the wires against the ground. 12VDC

Check from BOTH the screw head on the plug AND the pin that the plug attaches to. DO NOT take the plug off the unit to run this test.

I am interested to know if any of the voltages change between the Screw Head and the Pin.

It could just be a loose wire.

If you can post both sets of voltages here that would help.
