Dish 722 to Roadtrip SDI have a Roadtrip SD. Can a Dish network 722 Be used as the main receiver and what would the proper hookup be. At home the one single coax goes into two connections on the back of the box.Is that the same on the Roadtrip SD. How is the second TV programed. I have this setup. It seems to only find 1 satellite and the second TV appears to be searching for satellites using the 1 into 2 connection on the 722 like at home. (switch SW 64)
Re: Dish 722 to Roadtrip SDIn the RV you will want to either use two cables from the Dish to the Receiver or you will need to set the receiver to SINGLE TUNER mode.
The RoadTrip can only ever see one satellite at a time so only one of the tuners will be able to move the dish from satellite to satellite to get all of the programming. The other tuner can look at any channel on that satellite but can only look at the satellite that the primary tuner is watching.
