Using h21 directv receiver

Postby tmcblane » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:25 pm

Is it feasible to use an H21 Directv HD receiver with the Minimax? I have gotten it to work but I don't know what the magic is, I mess with it often for 45 minutes to an hour and suddenly it will work. Sure isn't as simple as the book shows. Can anyone shed light on how to make it setup reliably?

What setting are you using when you run through the Repeat Satellite Setup routine?

Still using the 3 lnb and mulitswitch as suggested.

Try setting it to 18" round, continue to Signal Strength and then Signal Meter. It should be set to 101 and transponder 1. Now turn on the Mini-Max power and see if it locks onto 101. If there is a clear view is should only take a few minutes.
