questions on tv antennaello. i am living in my rv in montana. my friend has connected his cable box to my incoming cable in the rv. we can not get anything. he is on satallite. do i have to unplug my weingard antenna or how can we fix this? am i making any sense? lol

Re: questions on tv antennawe are trying to connect to his cable and run into my rv. can't get anything. do i have to turn the antenna off before i can get anything through the cable connection? is there an on/off switch in the unit? if so i haven't found it.
Re: questions on tv antennaI you are just trying to connect an external cable signal or output from your friends satellite box to your RV cable in connection this should be pretty simple. There is either an on/off switch or a video control center (switch box with TV, Cable, Sat, Aux, etc). If you do not have the VCC then you will be looking for a small wall plate the size of a light switch. This can be located nearly anywhere but usually near the main TV. There will be a very small push button or slide switch and a LED light (usually green). If the light is lit you will get over the air TV from your Winegard TV antenna and if the light if off you will pass the cable connection to the TV.
