Simple installation instruction

Postby thegreaterikku » Mon Jul 11, 2011 1:51 pm

Hi,

I am new here and never quite done any satellite installation.
So I have just one question:

I have a SK-7002 with SK-722 mount. I am basically trying to install my HD receivers.
One is a DSR530 and the other one is a HD-DSR605.
I've installed them like I think they are supposed to be but the quality picture is bad.

I've connected both A and B LNB to the DSR530 and the C one to the DSR605.

Is it a normal installation or I am missing something to make it work?

Thanks for your help.

What is the signal strength you satellite is receiving? You may also want to check your coax connections.

A poor picture on the TV is almost always the result of a bad coax cable/connection or video switcher and not the antenna or receiver. If you pull up the setup menu on the receiver do you have a crystal clear picture? If not, you will need to trace down the connections between the receiver and the TV to locate the problem.
