GM1518 secondary receiver

Postby brab » Sat Mar 05, 2011 10:46 am

Has anyone had trouble with secondary receiver loosing sat. signal after primary receiver is turned off ? Secondary receiver runs fine for about 15 to 20 minutes then looses signal on same channel that primary receiver is on. Receivers are Dish VP211 HD as primary and DP311 as secondary. Both co-ax have voltage. Also channels are not on HD.

When you shut off the primary receiver you are shutting off the secondary receiver as well.

Are you telling me that when the primary receiver is turned off the secondary receiver can not power the LNB ? The secondary receiver is powered and is in a separate room, therefore it is not shut down when the primary receiver is turned off.

The primary receiver controls everything and the secondary is just a slave to the primary.
