Searching for satellite (DTV Error 771)

I am using my system at home and it works fine with a Slim Line dish with 1 HD DIRECTV receiver and 1 HD-DVR receiver.
I want to use the plain HD receiver in my RV with a Wineguard RD-9046 18”x20” Oval dish. (When used I get the 771 error.) I’m getting about 15 volts from my receiver to the dish, getting a strong signal using a satellite meter, recruited help from fellow camper that have dishes but still could not find a satellite. Do I have to change any programming in the receiver to except the different dish or satellite? Is SWiM and a multiswitch needed for a single reciever?

Do not install the Bband converter behind the receiver.
Set the dish type to "Round 18" dish" and the switch type to "02 Multiswitch"
Access the signal meter screen when aiming the satellite. It will show what percentage of signal strength you're getting when you're on signal.
Run the coax in through the door, or the window and straight to the back of the receiver. Bypassing anything between the satellite finder and the receiver.
