QUESTION ABOUT MY GM 15-18. I noticed that once you pick up the carryout to move that the dish inside moves around, is there a way to temporarerly lock it in place, I was thinking when useing it in the same place alot that if I could just place it right back in the same spot and position each time and be ready to go that that would be nice, Just a thought

As you can imagine a system that takes a satellite dish and automatically points it at a satellite in the sky that it cannot see is quite a task. When the GM-1518 is turned back on it must perform that search because if the angle is just slightly different your signal will be greatly affected.

In short no, the GM-1518 will perform the search when moved or powered back on as it should to insure signal quality.
