Just purchased a motorhome that has a Wingard 4160 Antenna. The antennae will not "crank" up.
I need information on troubleshooting this problem. What are the possible causes for this problem?

Re: Wingard 4160 AntennaJust to be sure, this is the combination satellite dish and over the air antenna correct?
If this is the case, is the satellite dish behind or beneath the over the air antenna portion of your system? It could be as simple as spraying the gears with a silicone spray lubericant. (DO NOT use WD-40 as this will ruin your gears.)
Re: Wingard 4160 AntennaYes that is correct-this is the combination satellite dish and over the air antenna
Beneath- I removed the hand crank yesterday, only to find it is just a "hex" type shaft and the crank is just attached by a small screw. After the snow clears I will lube the gears with silicon lubricant. Any other thing I need to cheeck while on the roof? THANKS!
