FL5000C - NO POSTS - Costco 30+ miles away

Hi,

Prior to posting I searched several boards in this forum for FL5000C. Unfortunately, each search produced ZERO results.

I am looking for existing posts, prior to and up to the time of this post, that may help to influence purchasing 10 to 15 of this Winegard antenna.

When I contacted my local Costco, for me a 30+ mile round trip, the guy initially said "we don't carry any Winegard at our location" and then when I pressed him, he confirmed availablity of fourteen FL5000C in stock. He also confirmed the price was below $30, but above $25.

I hate when a single retailer has an EXCLUSIVE on any manufacturer's product and wish I could find this antenna online - since a search on Costco's website only produces the Winegard's FV-HDC30 desguised as Costco's FV-HDC3 (another B.S. ploy to evade competitive pricing).

I prefer the CLEAR look of the 5000C over the black or white (whichever it is) of the 5000.

Are there ANY POSTS in this forum on the 5000C prior to this posting? Are there any online retailers selling the 5000C (not to be confused with the 5000)?

Any suggestions?

According to the website, the 5000C is a Costco exclusive. I have to assume this to still be the case.
I have one and it is an excellent antenna. It stands toe to toe with my Sensar antenna. I am finally in the middle of nowhere today and I will give it a try here as well. If it gets anything it will be a miracle!

The FL5000C is brand new and is just now hitting Costco stores. Occasionally when taking a product such as the FL-5000 FlatWave into a big box retailer they have specific requests for different packaging or changes to a product. Because of these changes this model is specific to Costco only and will most likely not be available through other outlets.
