Which DISH receiver to use with SK-1000

When our Trav'ler SK-1000 was installed, two DISH 211-K receivers were installed, instead of one of the receivers having DVR or TIVO capability, which I want. DISH is willing to exchange one of the receivers, but which one is better for the Trav'ler? One installer recommended the 611. Does that sound correct? Is there anything else we should know? So far the Trav'ler works terrifically!

I have a 211 and a VIP612 on mine. The 612 gets hot sometimes but works just fine.

Thanks, Terry! That is exasctly what one tech suggested, but I always like a second opinion from someone who has actually used it!
