#2: Decide Which Stations
First, select the radio button next to "Show Digital Stations Only". This will display only the stations that will be available in your area after June 12, 2009.
Then you must decide which channels you would like to receive. This is unfortunately something you must decide for yourself. Look at the channels listed on antennaweb and rule out networks that are far away and identical to those you are already receiving locally.
As an example if you have PBS 20 miles from your location and another PBS located 60 miles from you, their is typically no reason to receive the further network.
#3: Enter Your Color Codes
Check the box next to each color code below that corresponds to the colors listed under "Antenna Type" on antennaweb of the channels you want to receive. For example, if on your antennaweb page you see yellow, red and violet next to the channels you would like to receive, check all of those boxes.
Yellow
Green
Light Green
Red
Blue
Violet
#4: Enter Your Frequency Type
On antennaweb, in the same boxes as the color codes, the frequency type of the station is listed. Please check the box next to each frequency listed for the channels you would like to receive. NOTE: 98% of all television markets will have both UHF and VHF stations available.
Low VHF (2-6)
High VHF (7 - 13)
UHF
#5: Enter Your Station Angles
In the rows containing the channels you would like to receive on antennaweb their is a column called "Compass Heading". Please enter the maximum heading difference from the channels you would like to receive. For example, if Station #1 is at 40° and Station #2 is at 220°, you would enter 180. Please note that 360° is equal to 0°.
Enter Degree Difference Here:
#6: Enter Your Furthest Mileage
