RP-6300 - replacement crank handle

Question:
My Winegard antenna quit operating so I purchased a new worm gear and hex elevating shaft replacement and directional handle. I removed the old ones and noted the directional handle had a piece of tin epoxied to the top of it in a circular bend to extend the length of the handle. I removed the old one and replaced it with the new. When I checked to see if everything was now operating I found that I did not have the the ability to rotate the antena. It raises and lowers but there is no way to rotate it.

Tech Tip:

We make an extension for the directional handle; most RV dealers will have these in stock as an EK-1036.

If the extension makes the handle too long then you will want to cut from the handle not the extension. Once you have things to the correct length, you just need to glue the two pieces together.
