Back in early 2007 you helped me swap the satellite antenna that came on our RV with a Winegard RoadTrip SD. This has worked for us without fail. Can this RoadTrip SD be converted to an HD receiver? If so, what do I have to do.
The RoadTrip can not be made to work with DirecTV's HD package. Direct has used a completely different system to transmit their HD channels and NO Domed systems will receive them. If HD is a priority, I would suggest looking at our new TRAV'LER antenna or thinking about Dish Network. However, there is an upgrade that will be needed to get your RoadTrip to work with many of Dish Network's HD channels.
