I have an old Winegard pre-amp model GA-287 and need to supply it with power since my TV does not put out any DC voltage on the coax cable. What power supply should I use for this pre-amp?
All Winegard preamplifiers manufactured before 1993 were powered by 18VAC going up the coax cable. At the preamplifier circuit board the AC voltage was rectified to minus 12volts DC. If you need a replacement power supply you need a Winegard PS-9370.
