I purchased a used RV that had a Winegard RS-1000 already installed. The antenna had been mangled. I purchased a Sensar III GS-2200 for a replacement. The RS-1000 had a 12VDC power power supply in the coach. Will that suffice for the Sensar III preamp? The replacement power supply that came with the Sensar III puts out 18VAC. I need reassurance that the original 12VDC supply for the RS-1000 will not harm the Sensar III.
All Winegard antenna amplifiers will run on either AC or DC voltages. The AC voltage is rectified to DC in the unit. You are safe using the DC supply.
