I have a Winegard SS-2000 and I have a question. If I get a bigger pre-amp such as the AP-8275 will I get a better signal?
I’m sorry to say that you can not add the AP-8275 preamplifier to your antenna since it will not pass the +15 VDC power through it to power the amplifier built into the antenna. If you wish to try more amplification try the HDA-100 with 15db gain or the adjustable HDA-200 with 24dB distribution amplifier after the power supply. Otherwise you could raise the antenna higher so that it might be able to see over any obstructions.
