RC-DT09 - Running on DC

Question:
I have a question concerning the power supply of the RC-DT09. The website says the power source is DC provided through the included AC adapter. I camp a lot in areas without hook ups. Can the adapter be powered by 12V DC?

Tech Tip:

I am sorry to say that you will need to use an inverter with the RC-DT09 since it requires 9 volts DC to operate. If you go directly into the RC-DT09 with 12 volts DC it will cause damage to the unit.
