HDP-269 - Insulator boots Date Modified: 2009-04-18 Question: The HDP-269 amplifier comes with two rubber weather boots for the F-connectors. It appears that the cable-end of the boots are too small to slip over the F-connectors in order to get them onto the RG6 cable. What is the trick for getting those boots onto the RG6 cable? All my cables have the F-connectors pre-assembled onto the cable. Tech Tip: The boots will not fit over cables with the connector already attached unless you cut the bottom of the boot so it will slip over the cable.
