Canada will employ the ATSC digital broadcast standard as it is in the United States.  So the same television tuners and antennas we use in the States will be useful for Canada.  Canada does not have the same analog shut down date as the United States.  Canada has some digital television stations on the air but most are analog today.  Canada will phase out analog more slowly given tighter economic conditions.
