I have a Winegard RD-9046, and I just signed on with Dish Network services. My receiver is a model provided by Dish Network (VIP612). I have the HD subscription (using satellite 72.7 and 61.5). Will this Winegard satellite dish work? If not, is there any portable model which would work better (or a roof mounted unit)?
The RD-9046 will receive any one of Dish Network’s satellites. So in order to get all of your channels you will need to re-aim the dish as you change satellites. There is currently not a reflector that will get all of your satellites alone. Even on the home systems as they use two dishes.
