I have a Roadtrip SDi with DirecTV and I am traveling in Mexico. At the begining of my trip my unit was working fine, but I just tried it in a city that is more in the south and now it can not find any signal. Is this normal? The local RV dealer told me they use Sky satellite service in Mexico so I was wondering can I use it with my RT1200?
Sadly no, the RoadTrip is not for use with SKY. You should be able to get a 76cm reflector to work for either Dish or DirecTV quite a ways south but you will need to mount a 76cm reflector on a pretty sturdy pole set into the ground.
