Sensar (Batwing) - Do you have 12volts?
Date Modified: 2009-04-21

I am in a RV park that does not have cable. My RV has a Winegard Sensar antenna and an on/off power supply. The green light is on, but the reception is very poor. My neighbors have similar units and get much better reception. Is there anything else I should have installed to help clarify the picture?

Tech Tip:
The first thing to check is the voltage going to the antenna head. If you or someone with you is able to get on the roof, disconnect the coax from the antenna and test it for 12V. If you have the voltage we need to talk about replacing the antenna head. If you do not have the voltage you will need to check every connection until you get back to the power supply to see where you are losing this voltage.
